I’m doing an endorsement for “Mr. Clean Magic Erasers“
…They are the greatest!…I first used them when my Kennedy got black permanent marker
on my new kitchen table…I would never be upset with her!…She was just drawing
… Now it’s been a couple of years since my “new table”…and it has had many things on it…from paint
, markers
, glitter glue
, crayons
, scotch tape, ink pen
… Well, you can see…quite a few things! …Just like last night…All 3 of my Grandkids spent the night…Iwas even graced with the presence of my 16-year-old Granddaughter, Taylor…and I just loved it!…They read my mind…a little scarey…I thought they might like to paint…one of their favorite things to do…and it had been awhile…Before I could verbalize the words…Kennedy asked ,”Can I paint
, Grandma?”… Of course,”Whatever your little heart desires!”…I proceeded to get out my paint boxes…brushes
, paper plates for palettes , cups of water to rinse brushes and paper napkins to wipe brushes on…They try to keep something under their work to save my table…and I have found old wrapping paper that comes on rolls
…is great for this…All 3 artists went to work
…Hours later…Carson had a houseboat
on water with a ladder attached…and anchored where it would not float away…You could definitely see it all…but, I love the explanations!…Kennedy is pretty flowers, designs, hearts
,”Girly stuff”…and Taylor , must have been still thinking of our vacation to Panama City…because her representation of silhouetted palm trees on the beach with the sun setting was beautiful!
…Carson, I noticed… is very detailed, has meaning and usually is something real…Kennedy is whimsical, fairytailish
, pretty colors…and Taylor is thoughtful with her design…something that makes her happy
…As I was putting my paint supplies away…I noticed the little drops of color on my table…red, blue, green, yellow, etc
. … sparkles from more glitter glue
… Brushes with paint still on them in the water cups
…I just smiled!…because it will always be worth it!…and Mr.Clean and his magic eraser
will come to my rescue!
“My Kids!”…
We held after school classes for the 21st Century Program in our Bake Shop/Kitchen
area of our classroom…As I have said, “I did arts/crafts projects
with kids who were trying to improve their grades”…I was the fun class…working as an incentive to keep the kids coming for the math/language arts skills that they desperately needed…We played games
, made crafts, cooked
, played outside, etc. …Sometimes we would paint…or use markers
and that’s when I was known to get in trouble at times…We tried to cover the tables with paper, but at times the paint, markers
and other materials such as glitter glue or food coloring…would stain the tables…W e only had a few minutes at the end of each session to clean up…and the kids did as good as kids do…The next day I would have to scrub the tables with whatever we had to use to remove the messy stains… I’ve known some stains to last for weeks…The tables were actually clean…but, the stains remained to be seen by all…I felt guilty
…but, knew I had done all I knew to do…Now, I would know who to call on …my favorite helper and product… Mr.Clean with his Magic Eraser
… You were just invented a few years too late…since I had been doing arts/crafts for 30 years with my kids at school…and only found out about your wonderful product a couple of years ago…Thanks, Mr.Clean!
