Too Much Orange???

October has definitely been the most decorated month in my lifetime…

Our room at the YMCA Adult Center is aglow with orange everywhere!…

We have pumpkins, witches, scarecrows, corn husks, spiders, owls. monsters, candy corn, jack-o-lanterns…

 

made out of every imaginable material…

We have had Ghost Stories

… foods …

crafts  …

with an Autumn/October Theme for almost a month!…

This will end Friday … on Halloween Day!… with a costume contest… for whoever wants to participate… and desserts(sugar-free)…

Games have been played… faces have been painted… costumes have been talked about …

Our college students who are helping us while getting credit… have come up with numerous activities…

Cinnamon Crunch Cereal = Monster Scabs

Chocolate Chips = Witches Warts

Candy Corn = Jack-O-Lantern Teeth

Marshmallows= Ghost Poop

Our Seniors lose some of their skills as they age… So I had them count out a certain of number of each item to put in their individual snack bags…

They had four bags of Ghoulish Treats  to take home…

Lots of fun was had by all!
