I chose to use the word THROUGH as the meaning of completion…conclusion…accomplishment…
This is my husband, Bobby as he got through with his tour of duty in Viet Nam… It had been a long time since he had been home!… I could feel and see the emotions in him as he gazed out of his barracks… He was finally through!… or so he thought!

Brilliant… Yes, we can use it in many ways. :-)
As I told another blogger…I am sometimes inclined to go in another direction…Thanks for comment ~mkg

Nice photo. Very thought provoking. Looks like the front cover of a novel.
I just love this photo of my husband…We had only been married a month when he was sent to Viet Nam…and now we have been together 43 years…
It looks as if he was a model posing for this photo. Congratulations on staying together through all those years.

A handsome man :). Why do you say “so he thought?”
PTSD is a real thing…I’ve seen him suffer with this for many years…The images of war are not good … ~mkg

Great photo. Saw one of the comments that said it looked like a novel cover. You should write that story! ~ Sheila
This is quite a thought-provoking post Marilyn. Congratulations on being married for 43 years! I can only imagine… but I imagine that going through PTSD is a very, very difficult situation. Heartfelt wishes that your futures are much happier.
I have a great guy!…Happiness is what we make it…and so we choose to care and love each other through everything! Thanks for comment! ~mkg
