A Treat For Mom!


Have been busy already… Outside to check on my seeds I have planted… Coming up quicker than I thought… Been to water aerobics class …LOVE IT!… Makes me feel good all day!… Met a new little girl there with Muscular Sclerosis… Best attitude…terrific outlook on life… Doctor had told her the water aerobics would be good for her… I just hope she didn’t overdo today… She received lots of advice from all of us… on taking her time… and doing things at her own pace…

I’ll need to fix some lunch soon… but, when I checked my email … I saw this recipe from Pillsbury… and decided to share… Easy and yummy sounding!… maybe even good for a Mother’s Day  treat for breakfast…

Cinnamon Roll Waffles with Cream Cheese Glaze


1-can Pillsbury Grands Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing

1-cup powdered sugar

3-tablespoons milk

1-teaspoon vanilla

DIRECTIONS: 4 Servings

1. Heat waffle maker; spray with cooking spray. Remove Cinnamon Rolls from can; set icing aside.

2. For each waffle, place 1 Cinnamon Roll in center of waffle maker; close. Bake 3-4 minutes or until waffle is thoroughly cooked and golden brown.

3. Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir together reserved icing, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla until glaze is smooth.

Pour glaze over hot waffles.

Be sure to spray the waffle iron in between each waffle. The sugar from the cinnamon roll can make the waffles stick.

These are also delicious served with real maple syrup instead of the glaze. Add some pecans for extra crunch.
