Weekly Photo Challenge: LOVE!

Gift… Memory

Hearts have always reminded of me of Love for all of the obvious reasons… So I thought I would see how many Hearts (signs of love) I could find in my house…

A Valentine Candle I found at my favorite Thrift Store… When you burn it… you find little treasures… like:

* gold-plated or sterling silver charms and pins…

*pewter figurines…

*semi precious stones

It’s so pretty I hate to burn it… so I may never find out what’s inside!

This “Casino Cash” jar was given to me by a little aide that was in the classroom I was in during my last year with my Special Ed students… She did sign language with our hearing impaired student… She knew my husband and I enjoy playing penny slots… I still use it for our loose change

Shiny Red Valentine Heart I found for a $1.00 at the dollar store… I just added a ribbon…

and hung it on my door…

My Valentine Centerpiece for my kitchen table

Variety of glass containers with red/white/heart candles and my little Heart Salt/Pepper Shakers I found at a “Cracker Barrel Restaurant”…

My back window with a few of the flowers left from my Birthday Bouquet

and Window Clings for Valentine’s Day… which I think is such a fun way to decorate for the Holidays…

What better way to show love…than through our hearts…

  1. Good exercise, to really see what you have. I try to do that sometimes…walk through my house and view it like I’m seeing it for the first time. It’s amazing what jumps out at you when you really look! ~ Sheila
