Graduating Memories…

My oldest Granddaughter… Taylor… graduates from High School tomorrow…

Just one tiny step in the path she will follow through her life…

but, an important one…

Yes, she “is all that” as her little sister… Kennedy… tells her…

 

Little brother just loves his Taylor…having fun and being her little brother!

In my eyes she is pretty special!…

I’ve watched her grow from day one of her birth…

Being my first Grandchild… my heart  got caught in her awe… a part of my son… a beautiful angel  sent to us from God…

She has been a joy to us and we feel blessed…

We will have a family cook out  to celebrate her Graduation Ceremony tomorrow… and then Sunday will be her “big” graduation party… with all friends… family invited…

I just checked the weather… and we are lucking out… a beautiful sunny day in the forecast…

I know my daughter-in-law and son have been so busy making this a day to remember for Taylor…

The plans… the invitations … the menu… the music … the decorating… getting enough tables/chairs…

It takes all hands on deck…

I’m bringing appetizers… and was asked to put together a photo collage of my girl…

Yes, I feel she’s mine at times… forgive me… but, she has my heart…

Melanie gave me lots of photos of her… and along with all that I had… over 100 were scanned… cropped… ran off… cut to fit… and placed on a Congratulations Board   I found…

It gives what I call a “representation” of her young life so far…

It was fun!… it brought back so many memories…

Brian remarried and Melanie had a little girl quicker than she thought…

Taylor played basketball for a few years… soccer… volleyball… cheerleader… 

actually not for the sport… but, for all the social aspects…

friends, friends, friends…

 The whole family… grew ..
