I’m here… I’m in the 21st Century 
… so I guess I should try to be comfortable in it…
I don’t want to go forward into unexpected happenings 
and I certainly like some of the amenities we have now… so don’t want to go backwards…
To be in the 21st Century doesn’t mean I have to be a Space Cadet…
live on another planet…
wear clothes like everyone else…
have a hairstyle like everyone else…
eat any kind of foods I don’t like…
I can live in the kind of house I like… (within my means)…
I can watch programs on TV that I like…
I can decorate and make my house into what I like…
I can choose to have all of the gadgets that are available or not…
I can choose my friends…
I can choose to have a mate or not…
to have children or not …
and I can do most anything I want as long as I have the money to pay for it..
The problem with the 21st Century… is that the media pushes us to live above our means 
… trying to get everything the neighbors have… everything even our relatives have…
If you can learn to know peace within yourself…
live within your pay… (Be able to afford what you purchase)…
pick your friends carefully…
know right from wrong…
I think you can fit into any Century…
It’s when you get out of control and try to become something you’re not… when the problems arise…
So, yes… I’m a 21st Century person… with some old-fashioned ideas… that have worked for Centuries…
