A fellow blogger I follow “Lily Mugford“… posted this blog and photograph…
It got my mind stirring as to… who are “My Real Friends” ???…
and as I contemplate …
I believe there are different groups for friends…
There are friends (true… real…) that have been there ever since you met them…
You might not see each other every day…
talk every day…
but, if you decided to get in touch… they would open their arms to greet you and be glad!… and some how keep in touch!
There are true friends that I have that are also “relatives”… so close… they know your inner thoughts as well as what you show to the outside world…
Love… love… love these friends…
I have neighborly friends…
They sit and talk about a lot of things… a couple of times a week… but, keep a distance to a certain extent…
Not wanting you to come in too far…
I do this too!…
You have acquaintance friends…
People you might see at different clubs you belong to… or have worked with…
talk about lots of things again… but, there is still that little thin wall that keeps you from becoming “true friends”…
Social media friends… I do call you my friend!…and I feel I know a lot about some of you… but…
I still believe I would have to actual meet you in person to really get to know you and then maybe we would become true friends!… probably a lot of you!
That’s OK… When true friends are meant to be…
all barriers are pulled down… your heart opens … and love enters…
We are a strange lot… us humans… with all of our feelings… past experiences... lifestyles… entwined…
Do some of these things keep you from making friends???
or do you just give yourself freely to all who come into your life…
