I drew and painted these memories of play when I was young…
Dad put up a swing between two “twin” trees…
that grew close together…
I would swing as high as I could…
trying to touch the limbs with my toes…
When I grew too big to swing between the trees…
and my playing days changed…
my Mom placed this wagon wheel between them…
and the trees grew around them…
I felt the trees embraced me as I played for many years … and then embraced the wagon wheel… when I left…
