I made the original version… wanting everything in it!…
since I was going to make a big pot!… and figured we would eat on it a couple of days!…
It is a little spicy… just hot enough!…
My guys loved it and so did I!…
More of a soup to me… would be awesome with Corn Bread …
but we ate it late tonight to taste it… so just had it all by itself… DELICIOUS!
Will bake some corn bread another time…
Thanks Freeda!
Thank you, Marilyn! I’m so glad you liked the stew and yes, it does seem like a soup. I guess stew sounds more like what cowboys might eat. You can adjust the spice to suit your taste. I didn’t use the Rotel.
that’s probably what made it spicy…but, my guys loved it…and will have to make again I know…the same way!
I love that soup made over the fires camping!!! Yummy
It was really good!
That sounds delicious! I love the variation of chili that turns it into more of a soup. Sounds like what’s for dinner at my house later this week! ~ Sheila
it was quite delicious!
Since I don’t have a crock pot I wonder if I could use my small slow cooker. It sounds too good not to want to try. Of course I would have to make it less spicy.
same difference or just cook on top of stove…
