Think about what you wanted to accomplish last week. Did you? What are the things that hold you back from doing everything you’d like to do?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us BARRIERS.
I use to think “TIME” was the issue… but, I have found it’s my use of the time I have…
that keeps me from accomplishing things…
I really hate to say how much time I waste…
What I am doing now… is probably one of those things…
I rationalize it by saying…
“It’s my pleasure!”
“It’s my fun!”
Of course it is!… but, sitting hours at a time … reading… writing… looking up things on the computer… can really keep me from doing more important things…
I need to do a few courses on the computer for my new job…
They should never have told me, “You have three months… to complete”…
I could have had them all done in two hours… if I had applied myself last week… but, now… they are still weighing on me like burdens do!…
I’ve never thought of myself as a procrastinator… Actually… hate that trait in others… but, with being retired for three years… and having no definite time schedule… maybe I have become lax in that area…
I wouldn’t want to remove “my pleasures”… but, I do think I need to prioritize more …
Hmmm … I think I’ll work on that next week…
I have some blogs I want… NEED… to read and comment on…
You pretty much nailed it. Time management is a difficult concept to work with.
it’s amazing how easy it is to procrastinate when you know something needs your attention.
