I never have blogged about my Valentine’s Day…
I worked from 8-12 pm at my part-time job…
My “seniors” had a party on Wednesday for Valentine’s Day… because more would be in attendance that day… I was off… so I took them Valentines
on Friday when I worked… and it was the “actual” day!
Some came in wearing their red shirts… heart pins … necklaces… even Valentine socks
…
You can see why they make me smile…
When I got home… my Bobby had the perfect card ( what it said ) for me and such a pretty bouquet of flowers… I was surprised and tickled… as were my girls ( the cats )…
They were checking out the flowers especially… and Jill , the oldest has been known to nibble on any fresh flowers I have in the house…
Jill is the big one…
Kit Kit is the one stretching… she’s the baby!
Jill would like for me to go away… where she could get a taste!
I had made the Grandkids red champagne glasses filled with candy… with a Valentine attached… I took them the next day when we all met for lunch…
Valentine’s Day afternoon my oldest Granddaughter asked if I would like to go to a movie… Bobby said , “Why don’t you go… you would enjoy it”…
I hated leaving him on Valentine’s Day… but, we are OK with whatever comes up…
my Granddaughter wanted to see “Endless Love”… a definite chick flick… which my husband would not have liked…
Starring Gabriella Wilde and Alex Pettafer… oh, yes girls… HE is a cutie!
She wanted to grab some snacks to take … and I informed her…”I must have movie popcorn!”… My favorite addition to a good movie… with a Diet Cola of some kind…
We did both!…
The movie was good… Teens will love it… and I too, since I’m young at heart… liked it too!…
My day was completed when I found a card in the mail… actually a Valentine from a blogging friend… She hand makes them… and I have been lucky enough to have received one now for two years… check out her post here…
