Granny Cake

I read this recipe and decided “I had to make it!”…

Simple ingredients… My kind of thing!… Remember!…

and called “Granny”… had to be good!…

If you like Pineapple Upside Down Cake“… you will love this!

1-1/2-cups sugar

2-cups self rising flour

2-eggs

1-( 20 oz. ) can crushed pineapple in its own juice (including juice!)

I like DOLE Pineapple!

Mix thoroughly and pour into a 13″ X 9″ pan…

Sprinkle with 1-cup Brown Sugar and 1-cup Chopped Pecans…

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes

Mix together in saucepan:

1-cup Evaporated Milk

1/2- cup Sugar

1- Stick Margerine

1- Teaspoon Vanilla

Cook until comes to rolling boil… After cake has baked and come out of the oven…pour the cooked milk mixture over the cake…Let set about an hour… and ENJOY!

I shared some with my neighbors… and only heard it was eaten all in one evening!
