I’ve been a little down lately with my back hurting… but, yesterday made plans with some friends to go to Huber’s in Indiana… A farm that has grown into a huge business!…
Janice went for apples to makes Apple Butter with her Granddaughter…
I just went to look and then of course purchased a “few” things… I wanted one of everything!… but, would have had to have a semi truck to haul it!…
The decorations had such pretty colors!
Bobby and I picked out a 12 pound pumpkin… to carve sometime before Halloween…
This one weighed 527 Pounds!
Fresh broccoli and cabbage was a must!…
The smell of homemade breads had me buying a loaf of Sunflower Cracked Wheat Bread…
Oh, my!…was it delicious!…
Pumpkins of all sizes were available!
Lots of flavors of fudge… Bobby wanted Peanut Butter and I took my son some Pumpkin…
Wagons loaded down with gourds!
We sampled Apple Cider… Pumpkin and Apple Bread… Muffins…and bread with Apple Butter…
They have an Ice Cream Shop… A Wine and Cheese Restaurant / Shop
I had to have a bottle of Spiced Apple Wine… Saving it for Thanksgiving… The sample was really good!…
Wine and Pumpkin we bought!
The scenery is awesome with all of the Fall decorations…
They have lots more to do… but, we had decided to eat lunch in Owensboro, KY … at MoonLite Barbecue Restaurant…about 1-1/2 hour drive… maybe more…
These Smoke Stacks welcomed us to Owensboro…
Known for their BBQ… ( Beef, Pork, Chicken, Mutton) … and home cooked vegetables… Desserts of Cobblers and Banana Pudding…
This “chef” was at the door to greet us!
We left TOO full!
Good company with nice friends… Thanks, Janice and David… and a pleasant outing for an early Fall day!
You are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. That is one thing I miss. I wish I could do all the great things you do.
