Describe, in great detail, your high school prom experience.
I DID go to my Junior and Senior Prom… 
My Junior Prom’s memory was of getting my hair done…
I had pretty long brown hair with bangs……
My friend and I went to a beauty shop together…
The girl doing my hair said the only way to get my hair in curls on top of my head was to cut it...
So, I trusted her... to only end up with a MESS!…
Evidently knew nothing of how to do “up dos”... 
and I was left to go home… after paying her… take it all down... and fix it as good as I could…
I was in tears… 
My girlfriend looked like an old woman... head of tight curls…
She did as I did… after crying… 
Went home and had her Mom redo her hair…
I had made my prom dress of pale blue satin with a brocade pattern
… Although excited… I felt uncomfortable the whole time with my hair chopped off on top...
Oh, MEMORIES of our teen years!…
My Senior Prom was not what I expected either… 
My Mom had let me pick out a “bought” dress... and I loved it... Long and Pink with and an Empire Bodice... 
Tiny pink roses 
edging it… Sleeveless…
I now avoid sleeveless… but, then I was a tiny thing... and could wear anything…
I did my own hair… Memories of the previous year still haunted me (and my friend) and felt so much more comfortable the whole evening!…
I don’t remember wearing either dress again… No reason I guess... Too fancy for my activities…
Cut off blue jean shorts and t-shirts were more my style anyway!

I can’t cut my own hair and I also can’t count on one hand how many times I have been to a beauty shop only to come home and cry and redo it myself!! Great memories of days gone by
I didn’t mention it was a friend of my sister’s…I only trim my bangs once in a blue moon!
