We went with our good friends to Smithfield , KY to eat at OUR BEST Restaurant…
The food was wonderful!…
I had glazed pork chop…mashed potatoes…thin fried cornbread…fried green tomatoes…
it was “The Best” I have had…
Topped off with Key Lime Pie in a Mason Jar…YUMMY!
It has a small gift shop… and bought a little Blue Bird…
Bobby, me, Janice and David…
We then rode to Shelbyville, KY to this farm…
They have the most beautiful flowers… and produce…
They also sell baked goods, ice cream, sandwiches…and gift items…
Handmade items… including furniture…
The silos had me taking photos…
Bobby took a break on the porch swing… one of his favorites… as we browsed…
The green houses were full of large pots of flowers …
Your eyes kept seeing more and more of the beautiful colors… and country items…
The carved shovels were unique!
The Metal Rooster was huge… and this Bird House caught all of our eyes… but, at a price of $350.00… we weren’t buying!
I could have found a place for this little girl with her watering can… and the Silverware Guy was cute!
The canned pickled garlic and veggies looked so fresh and colorful…
Baskets hanging from the ceiling… but, the rabbit handled one was my favorite…
The live bee hive caught my interest as well… the Queen has the white dot on her…
If you look close you can see her…
The flavored honey sticks were neat!
Our friends always have unique places for us to visit…
along with good food…
Thanks for the afternoon friends!
I fell in love with the photos. I would never want to leave if I got there
Love the photos of all the farm and country items! Looks like a great day out! ~ Sheila
