Yesterday Jill… spotted “ICE AGE”… the movie…  coming on the TV…

Actually it seems that this furry character named Scrat… got her attention…

He was trying to bury his acorn…but, not having much luck with the frozen ground

She started on the floor watching… then went to the table where she could get a better look…

She watched intently for about 15 minutes… as different characters emerged…

We laughed as she bent down to look under the TVsearching for this pesky squirrel…

She then tried to touch them

We so enjoyed watching her antics!

I had picked up after Christmas these Fudge Mixes that had been marked down…

Complete with everything to make except butter…

Just mix and bring to bowl ingredientscooking and stirring for four minutes

I find these at Christmas usually…

A dense cookie… not too sweet…

just right to nibble on as I have my morning coffee…

The company started in 1930 by an Italian immigrant… and is now owned by Lance…

their other cookies are good too… cookies breakfast_original

I finally opened my Corn Relish that I bought at the Glendale Craft Fair…

I found it to be great on hot dogs that I had grilled…

of course chopped onions, pickle relish, mustard and ketchup was added too!

Something different for my neighbor who is doing our grass/leaves…

Peanut Butter Fudge…

Easy recipe!…

2-cups sugar

1/2 cup milk

Boil for 2-1/2 minutes…

Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3/4 cup peanut butter… STIR!… and pour in pan quickly…

sets up in minutes and cuts perfectly after cooling!

Sweet Void…

My sweet tooth was craving something to fill that void

You know… that void in your mind and body that is screaming…

Not, knowing it was going to be used so soon…

Well, maybe in the back of my mind I knew… it might be soon

It is so simple… and since that’s my word for the year (SIMPLE)… It was a perfect fit

2 Ingredient Fudge… Delicious!

This is probably the easiest recipe I have ever made…

I didn’t have a thingsweet in the house…

You know those kind of days…

So cold… didn’t want to go out…

Somewhere in the back of my mind I remembered a recipe for making fudge out of Canned Frosting

I looked it up and sure enough… there it was!…

and it only called for one other ingredient… chocolate chips… which I knew I had some left from Christmas in the refrigerator

You can read the recipe that takes all of 5 minutes to make and then chill for about 10-15 more minutes until you can cut in little squares…

It is so delicious… and SO EASY!…

I used…

plus a variety of chocolate/semi-sweet chocolate pieces

and it turned out like this…

About This Recipe

“A family friend makes this for all types of church get-togethers. I ate some when mom brought it home and I could not believe how simple this is to put together.”

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) cans of ready to spread frosting, any flavor
  • 1 (12 ounce) packages chocolate chips, any flavor ( ie. chocolate chips)

Directions

  1. Make sure you have complimentary flavors.
  2. Melt the chips in a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Melt frosting until pourable, about 30 seconds.
  4. Mix together the chips and frosting and pour into a greased 8×8 pan.
  5. Chill until set, about an hour.
  6. Makes a very soft, smooth fudge.
  7. Do not use the toffee chips, as they don’t melt very well.
