How come we love our Birthday… the day… the month…???
I like the Birthstone of “Garnet”… a very deep red…

After Christmas you can get a little blue due to activities being over… so gives me something to look forward to…
My cousin and I were born on the same day … same year… same hospital…
which is pretty great!!…
but, when January 15, 1973 came… a little boy came to share that day too…
my youngest son, Brian…
So… today we meet for lunch…
along with other January Birthday people in our little family…
My oldest Granddaughter 
… my daughter-in-law’s Mother…
I have many nieces and nephews and my Mother who also shared this month…
Some of my favorite Birthday gifts I remember were books I received from a sister-in-law…
Bobbsey Twins… I was probably 8 or 9… Because I was 10 when they married…
also Little Women and Robinson Crusoe…
My love of books began in my younger years along with art… Coloring… Drawing… Painting…
a few paintings…
I usually give away what I paint…
I just bought myself a new Book Light…
I love to read while Bobby has his chemo… but, he likes the room dimmer when sleeping…
and my eyes are not as good to read like that…
I also like to read in bed at night…
so, this little light helps me to enjoy my books…
The books were just one thing I remember… as a favorite Birthday gift… but, I have many!
