Should Have Been a Boy Scout??? or ???

I had my electric can opener go out… never liked it anyway…

so I used the one I had as a spare (hand wind)…

BROKE IT!…

so… bought another hand-wind wherever I was until I could find an opener I liked…

BROKE!…

so… to my surprise…

I put my skills to work…

opening cans with a knife…

( like I had read/heard about)…

Faster… didn’t break… but, better be cautious with the sharp edges…

at least I know I won’t starve if I’m caught with lots of canned food… (if I have a knife)…

These cans made it easier on me… PULL tab!

Geese on the sidewalk in the front yard…

they always make a visit around this time of year…

a pair…

I walked up to them to take photo…

and they didn’t mind at all…

The cereal that I like right now… (hooked on)

NO… probably NOT good for me…

but, it’s my treat…

Colorful… crispy and full of fruity flavor!…

Fruity Pebbles with Marshmallows…

We took a ride up to Belterra Casino in Indiana…

nice day for a ride…

and we needed a change of scenery

When we left I said, “Let’s ride over to , VeVay Indiana… it’s only 6 miles!”…

love the name and had never been to this little River Town……

so we did…

We decided on a chocolate malt and a vanilla shake…

when we saw “Shell’s Ice Cream” and they had a drive thru..

Next time we will plan to eat lunch there…

50’s looking diner inside…

and food looked delicious!…

also have pretty cakes for sale… for Birthdays and Special Occasions…

Saw this cute simple straw hat at the dollar store… YES… it was $1.00…

then some purple/green flowers (Berries) for $1.00…

Finishing with Green Rafia Ribbon for $1.00…

I knew it would be cute in the guest room…

Not changing much in this room since Taylor Kay (granddaughtr)… got her own apartment…

So with green walls… purple violets in border…

This worked great!

The hanger I found for $1.50 at my Thrift Store…

No need to spend big bucks when so many items are available… with just a little thought…
