Arriving at Our Destination!

We stopped in Tennessee at a rest area…

The flowers were beautiful everywhere we looked…

It rained a lot!… but, especially through Asheville, NC…

but, when we arrived in Gatlinburg and Cherokee…

NO RAIN!…

 

That’s King Kong in Pigeon Forge…

Too commercial for me… but, kids just love it…

So many exhibits and places to keep them busy!… a couple of miles jam-packed!

As we headed out of Gatlinburg to go over the mountain to Cherokee, NC…

It always grabs me with it’s beauty!…

 

   

We have stayed at the Cherokee Casino Hotel before… but, it is really nice with the creek running through the middle of the property…

  

There are several painted bears around the city… like we have the painted horses around Louisville…
