For things like freedom…

that has been…

We fight for things…

For things like religion…

with heads bent low…

We fight for things…

With all we have…

Fists, guns, fire…

Our lives we even gave…

We fight for things…

For lives to change…

From times of grief…

to times without pain…

We fight for things…

Our children’s future…

depends on us…

Is there no cure?

We fight for things…

That other’s have…

A place to live…

Roads that are paved…

We fight for things…

A place to shower…

Clean water running…

Electric power…

We fight for things…

A place to rest our head…

without feeling fear…

of seeing more dead…

We fight for things…

A land we call free…

Happiness abounding…

no dictator’s Cree…

We fight for things…

As others believed!

Liberty… Peace… Happiness…

Like other’s have received…
