Isn’t it great when something finally happens that you have been looking forward to…waiting for …listening for…working for…hoping
for…Sometimes when the answer comes it can be such an explosive feeling
of emotion! …The waiting as we all know is the hardest part…We wait for a telephone call
…we wait for a letter
…we wait for those wonderful words …we wait for answers…Our poor bodies sometimes go through such ups and downs …it’s amazing the durability of it!…The main thing that does keep this all in tack…is that we have Hope!
…Hope that our prayers
will be answered….hope that we’ll get the message our ears want to hear
…hope that others will see how important this waiting is …hope that you can bear whatever answer is given… Because…all things that we look forward to …will not always have the outcome you have anticipated…all things are not meant to be…things have so many ways they can go…Sometimes when this happens…we still have to cling to our hope…we might have to change tactics in dealing with the thing we’re looking forward to… we might have to settle for less…we might have to listen and accept an answer that is not what you want to hear
…All people go through these times…Looking on …it seems as though some have an easier time than others…some have extremely hard times…and some just keep prodding along…never really faulting…just having determination
to keep looking forward…So now Hope has turned into Faith …which gives us a peace
that others sometimes just don’t understand… Answers…that give us that wonderful explosive feeling inside that we call LOVE!
“My Kids!”…
I cannot imagine the many things that the parents of our “Kids”…had to endure … Before birth …knowing something wasn’t going just right in the growth of their unborn child … After the birth of their child and the words that they had to hear, “Your child is handicapped”
…mentally or physically…Learning what type of disorder your baby would have for the rest of your and his/her life
…The why’s, the how’s, the what’s, the when’s…
And the waiting began
…looking for answers …coming to grips with answers they were not ready to hear
…going forward with whatever it took to help their precious baby
…If anyone knows about looking forward …it would be them!…waiting, listening and Hoping!
…Then having the Faith
to endure…and then the LOVE that explodes and encircles
us to keep us knowing our place in this situation…
