Am I afraid? …

At that I wonder…

Have I made…

My own plunder…

I peek again… hearing…

Nighttime noises…

Winds blowing…

Creature voices…

Just time to rest…

Shut our eyes…

We’ll be our best…

When the sun does rise!

The light arrives…

Our world does open..

Renewing our lives…

Our bodies mend…

We need the dark…

A time to rest…

That distant spark…
